As our Diversity Festival Manager, Ana Kaye is thrilled to be part of the team and channel her passion for inclusivity into her work. Born in Saskatchewan, but having lived all over Canada, her passion for the mountains brought her to Salmon Arm, BC.
She is a passionate advocate for inclusivity and positive change, dedicating her efforts to the betterment of the LGBTQ2SIA+ community in the Shuswap region. With a rich background in restaurant and hospitality management, Ana brings a unique perspective to her role at Essie's Place.Ana developed an innate understanding of the value of embracing diversity. Her daily interactions with people from all walks of life fostered a strong belief in the importance of love and acceptance for all individuals, regardless of their backgrounds.
Ana Kaye's journey from the world of hospitality after 12 years, to community advocacy and genuine empathy enables her to forge authentic connections and cultivate a safe space.
Her tenure in the hospitality sector bestowed upon her the art of building bridges, and instilled in her the belief that every individual's story deserves respect and acknowledgment. Ana provides her insight to the valuable team we have at Essie’s Place, and works with the community to provide the best quality of life possible.
